There are many ways to raise funds, but the most important part is planning. You have to have a plan before you can do anything. Here are some ideas for fundraisers and the steps you should take to make it successful.
Fundraising event ideas
There are numerous events you can host for a fundraiser but here are a few popular ones: An outdoor concert, golf outing, dinner gala, dancing under the stars, or a silent auction.

Rental items you may consider
Tenting - We offer a variety of tenting options including pole tents, frame tents, and structures/clear span tents. For a description of each type of tent please see the section for tent definitions. Tents can come in small to very large sizes accommodating as many people as you require for your event. Our event specialists will work with you on the size of tent you need based on your needs of seating and other items you may want to have under the tent. They can even create a floor plan to help create the most cost-efficient use of space.
Tent Accessories - You may consider extras for your tent such as sidewalls, lighting, fabric décor, marquee entrances, heating, fans, air conditioning, dance floors, and whole tent flooring. We also offer portable restrooms. Your event specialist can help you determine which accessories you may need.
Seating - We offer many table types and sizes depending on your needs. Typically, most people choose 8’x30” long banquet tables which can seat 8 people or 60” round tables which can seat 8-10 people. We also have a few different options for chairs as well. You may consider linens to dress up the tables and chairs. We have a variety of colors to choose from which can be found under linens found on the price list. You may also need to rent serve ware such as plates and glasses which we also have available.
Entertainment - Of course you will need to keep your guests occupied. We offer a wood dance floor that comes in 3’x4’ pieces in a parquet design. If you don’t plan to hire a DJ we offer a do-it-yourself iDJ, which you operate, using 1 or 2 iPods or digital music players. This system comes with a mixer and speakers. More information can be found on the website. We also offer a portable lectern that has a podium and microphone with speaker for speeches, keynote addresses, or any other announcements. If you are hosting a more casual fundraiser or fair, we also have a variety of games for rental.
Food - You will want to work with your caterer for which items you may need to rent if not provided by them. We offer a variety of options for keeping food cool or warm including coolers, refrigerators, chafing dishes and warming racks. We also have large beverage dispensing coolers and coffee makers. If you are looking for something unique we also have margarita machines, popcorn makers and many other similar items.
